Craig and Lindsay Foreman, a British couple, have been sentenced to 10 years in prison in Iran for espionage while on a motorcycle journey. They were arrested in January 2025 and received their sentence in February 2025.

Several of Craig’s fellow prisoners have faced execution, raising concerns about their safety. Meanwhile, Lindsay is trying to maintain her mental health through reading, exercise, and yoga.
The couple was aware of travel warnings against visiting Iran before their trip. The next steps in their case now sit with the UK government, which has not yet issued any concrete plans for intervention.
