King Charles arrived in Bermuda for a solo royal tour after a state visit to the United States. This visit follows a significant diplomatic mission, highlighted by a trade breakthrough on Scottish whisky tariffs.
The King and Queen expressed gratitude to America before departing. Governor Andrew Murdoch and Premier David Burt welcomed King Charles on the tarmac.

During his time in Bermuda, King Charles will visit Trunk Island to see the “Living Classroom” educational programme. He is also scheduled to attend a reception at City Hall in Hamilton.

The day’s engagements will conclude with a garden party at Government House. The event aims to celebrate local culture, including traditional Gombey dance performances.
Notably, this trip was nearly canceled due to a deleted email from the mayor. However, it proceeded successfully amidst these challenges.
