As the new Premier League season commences, several London clubs are actively pursuing transfer deals. Arsenal is reportedly finalising the signing of Ezri Konsa and has also acquired Manchester United players James Scanlon and Habeeb Ogunneye. Meanwhile, Chelsea is preparing for a new bid from Manchester City for Enzo Fernandez and has secured Alfie Osborne, beating Barcelona.

Reports indicate that Atletico Madrid has decided to sell Julian Alvarez, a player who has been a primary target for Arsenal throughout the transfer window. While Alvarez had expressed a desire to join Barcelona, Atletico‘s reluctance to deal with their LaLiga rivals could reopen opportunities for Arsenal. Any potential deal for Alvarez would represent a club record for Arsenal.

Manchester United is nearing the acquisition of Carlos Baleba to bolster their midfield. The club may also turn its attention to defender Edmond Tapsoba.
