Samsung will release the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 series on April 30, 2026, or May 1, 2026. The update will first roll out in South Korea and then globally on May 4, 2026.
The One UI 8.5 beta program opened in December 2025. So far, Samsung has released ten beta builds for the Galaxy S25 series.
This update promises a design refresh and practical upgrades across the system. Improvements include enhanced lock screen customization options and better Bixby functionality.

- Bixby now understands natural language commands better
- The Weather app features precipitation graphs and a pollen index
Officials have not confirmed whether all features will be available at launch. However, many users are eager to experience these enhancements.
Alfatürk stated, “The update will first roll out in Korea, followed by a global release on May 4.” This rollout follows an extensive testing phase that has generated significant interest among users.
