ITV has announced a new travel series featuring Jason Manford and Gary Barlow, titled ‘Gary Barlow’s Food & Wine Tour: New Zealand’. The series consists of 6 episodes, each lasting 30 minutes.
Produced by Rock Oyster Media in association with Tourism New Zealand and Great Rail Journeys, the show promises to deliver an exciting exploration of New Zealand’s culinary and cultural landscape.
This new series follows previous successful Barlow-fronted series in South Africa and Australia, which reached an impressive 5 million viewers.

David Nottage, the executive producer, expressed enthusiasm about the pairing, stating, “Gary is a much-loved, charismatic and inquisitive traveller. Pair him with his mate Jason Manford and belly laughs and high adrenaline are guaranteed!”
Leanne Clarke, Assistant Commissioner for Entertainment and Daytime at ITV, played a pivotal role in commissioning the series, which aims to create genuine moments of connection between people, cultures, and landscapes.
Dave Riley from Great Rail Journeys emphasized the importance of storytelling in travel, noting, “Great Rail Journeys has always believed that the most powerful travel stories come to life when you create genuine moments of connection.”
As the series prepares for its debut, viewers are eager to see how Manford and Barlow’s dynamic unfolds in the vibrant settings of New Zealand.
